Cameras and Coffee

Learn how to use your “fancy” camera.  In one afternoon you will know how to get the shot you want in any situation.

Who is the class for?

This is for anyone that has a camera with lots of knobs and buttons but doesn’t know what they do.  You may have even attempted to read the owner’s manual or watch YouTube videos, but were left more confused.  As a result, you keep it on the automatic settings, not fully utilizing its capabilities and not always getting the picture you had envisioned.

What is in the class?

Exposure Triangle

(What those buttons do)

  • ISO
  • Aperture
  • Shutter Speed

Composition Tips

(Where to stand)

  • Rule of Thirds
  • Leading Lines
  • Framing
  • And More

(The key to a great pic)

  • What to look for
  • What to avoid
  • How to use what is available

You will walk away knowing:

  • Beginning photography terminology so the owner’s manual is less jibberish and more helpful.
  • What to look for and where to stand to get that shot you want.
  • How to get a great picture on purpose instead of a lucky accident.
